For this scheme of work students had to research contemporary public art and artists such as Claus Oldenburg, Jeff Koons and Bryan Angus. Then they had to photograph their school environment and design a public art sculpture for the school grounds. Through peer learning and group discussion student’s explored ideas for designing a large scale outdoor sculpture and then created design sketches for the purposes of making a one or two colour lino print.
